As soon as you get on the dock next to Pacific Breeze, you realize that you are in the presence of a true Expedition/Long Distance Style Yacht! She is the epitome of strength! The aft deck combing is 1/2"thick steel!! A true mans yacht! She has all the necessary amenities to make her extremely comfortable for life aboard, including an Auto Crane 5000!! Her large aft deck is the optimum space for having friends and family gather for a lunch under the custom sunshade awning. You could most probably seat 15-20 people comfortably out there. From the aft deck, you have comfortably wide side decks all the way forward to the foredeck, and the serious hydraulic windlass with a 120lb Forefjord anchor, 400ft of 5/8" chain, and 300ft of 5/8" cable!! Anchor wherever you like sir!!!
Into the salon from the aft deck through an extremely well built watertight door, you find a roomy salon. There is a dinette to port, and large sofa to stbd. The well appointed galley is forward to to port with a dishwasher, dual stainless sinks, three burner propane stove and oven, an overhead microwave oven, a full size side by side stainless fridge/freezer (new), trash compactor, large spice rack, and a lot of storage. There is also a diesel furnace in the salon, one of multiple heat sources for the vessel.
Up the stairs to the wheelhouse, and you have all the navigation gear you could ever need, and there is another watertight door on the aft wheelhouse bulkhead to access the dinghy deck, davit, and Portuguese bridge. Aft of the wheelhouse there is a ladder to gain easy access to the wheel house roof, mast and antennas etc mounted up there. There is also a desk in the wheel house to work from, with SSB's, weather faxes etc all available to aid in the safe passage making abilities of the vessel.
From the salon, to the stbd side and forward is the ensuite master stateroom. It has a island queen berth, full stall shower, water saving electric head, sink and storage. Down the stairs from the master, you go to the lower accomodation, with the stateroom to stbd and a queen sized berth, as well as an offset double bunk berth to port. There is a shared head with shower etc, full size washer and dryer. Going aft, you find the Onan genset, easily accessible for maintenance, and then further on the steering gear.
Forward, you have the engine room with the Cummins 855, 6 cyl diesel engine, installed new in around 1991, and the Detroit 9kw genset. Everything is on Racor fuel filtration, and neatly appointed. The hot water heater is also located in the engine room, and makes it easy to work on, or replace if necessary. There is plenty of work space located to the stbd side of the engine room. All lines, valves and fittings etc are well laid out, and labeled.
All in all, Pacific Breeze would be quite something to take on a long distance voyage, and write a new chapter in your book. She is built like a..............you know the rest. Call the listing broker now to view this amazing vessel.
