Classic 14' Clinker Motor Launch for sale in Devon United Kingdom

Built by Pasco and Sons of St Just in Roseland, Cornwall in 1964.

Refitted by the previous owner with new garboards, replacement engine and some new steamed oak timbers. Used regularly in present ownership every summer on the Dart, she has been perfect for pottering up and down the river as well as exploring around the local coasts.

Complete with a road trailer and cover, the boat has been recently painted and antifouled with a new propeller shaft fitted.

Construction

Clinker planked in pine all copper rivet fastened to steam bent oak timbers.

Various sections of garboard planks replaced along with numerous steamed timbers in previous ownership.

Oak stem and keel with a varnished teak transom.

Varnished mahogany covering boards all round with straight laid varnished mahogany fore and aft decks.

Bronze fairleads and cleats.

Varnished mahogany aft thwarts.

Scrubbed pine sole boards.

Transom hung mahogany rudder with wheel steering mounted on the gunwhale. Can be tiller steered.

Machinery

Bukh DV10 single cylinder 10hp marine diesel engine.

Stainless steel shaft new in 2023 to a 2 blade bronze propeller.

Engine box with insulation new in 2023.

Morse cables for throttle and gear recently replaced.

Copper fuel tank under the foredeck of about 20 litre capacity.

Single 12 volt battery charged by the engine alternator.
