DESCRIPTION

SOLD - VERKOCHT Boat location: Wanssum / The Netherlands VAT paid   60 pictures on our website grandyachts.eu and in high-resolution upon request by mail   --technical details are found below the description—   The Cranchi Smeraldo 37 is a boat for the young at heart, spirit and mind where the pursuit of sun, sea and fun knows no boundaries. The Smeraldo 37 This 10.92 metre express cruiser is on the water with a 3.80 metre beam and is powered by the factory upgraded Volvo Penta twin D6 EVC/DP 310-hp diesel engines. Furiously fast This Smeraldo feels like it’s flying above the water, from 0 to almost 40 knots takes just a couple of seconds and cruising her on the river Maas I did with 30 knots easily. Having this in mind I can say this Smeraldo 37 is perfect for a couple that wants to see an entire country within one holiday only. She’s just fast and because of her high output Volvo’s very fuel efficient. Her cockpit is designed for comfortable day cruising for three couples, and sleepovers for two couples. On Deck Topside, the design is sleek and elegant. Her curves are gentle and look nautical. The Cranchi Smeraldo 37 has a very large swim platform and above that this example benefits from having the expensive Besenzoni gangway/dinghy lift with remote. The platform tapers inward as it moves aft, with teak inserts and the gangway in the middle breaking up the expanse. In any case, I like it and it provides a lot of space for all sorts of watersports activities, and is big enough for a tender. I’m also happy to report that I found no design errors (round chart tables, helms where you can’t stand up, foredecks that are impossible to walk on, etc.) on the Cranchi Smeraldo 37. Look closely on our pictures and you will see that the seats are all large, and that passageways are ample.       Cockpit The portside wetbar. Finally, someone has solved the problem of getting to the cans behind the bottles in the front of the refer without them all tumbling onto the deck. And like all things Italian, the wet bar has a rounded fiberglass cover over the sink and the counter so that everything looks smooth, neat and well-designed. An outside fridge is also housed inside. Belowdecks Below we find an expanse of deck covered in a light-colored hardwood. There will be plenty of room for guests to get around without bumping into each other as they use the galley, go to their cabin, the head, and the settee. This is good design, and made possible because Cranchi has pushed the interior as far outboard as it possibly could. Again Cranchi has shown its self-confidence by choosing functionality, acknowledging that we are on a boat, after all. By doing so they have created at least three inches more of sole space.   As you can plainly see in the pictures, the interior design and decor is top of the notch. We leave the soft, rounded, lovely curves of the deck and going below are greeted by just the same – an interior that meets the rest of the boats quality. Finest crème leather combined with the light-coloured woods, earth tone-coloured fabrics, and the contrasting teak brown flooring below the galley counter are precisely what is coming out of the interior design studios.   Forward Stateroom The double berth is placed in the centre which is exactly to my taste. I like it because it is a good use of space. It opens up the cabin and creates more sole space so two people can get by each other. Plenty storage and a full length dress mirror are found inside this luxurious cabin. Mid Cabin This cabin has some measure of head room as you walk in and it is pretty typical of what you find in boats of this type. The cabin is full beam which is nice and makes it super roomy. The offset to port bed can be made up as two singles or an insert (comes with the boat) can be added to make it a king size bed or perfect playroom for kids.   Recommendation If you are the kind of person who doesn’t want to have the same kind of boat as everyone else in your marina, and you like the excitement of a well-executed Italian design and build, then you should look at our Cranchi Smeraldo 37. As you can see in the pictures, she is an exciting boat and it should be fun to own something so different.    Dimensions   Length: 10.92m Beam: 3.80m Draft: 0.90m Air draft: 2.15m Weight: 8.1 tons Fuel: 570 Lt Fresh water: 200 Lt plus 40 Lt boiler Waste: 75 Lt     Engines – Controls – Gearboxes – Genset:   2 Volvo Penta D6-310 Volvo EVC controls 315 engine hours Bow Thruster   Electronics & equipment:   Webasto marine diesel heating Raymarine Chartplotter Raymarine VHF Autohelm speedometer Autohelm depth sounder Offshore compass Sound system Electric anchor winch Anchor control on bow and lower helm Stainless steel hydraulic gangway Marine toilet Boiler Isotherm fridge/freezer Isotherm fridge/freezer in cockpit 2 zone HOB       Self-draining cockpit Hinged resin roll bar cabinet with foldaway washbasin and tap Housing for cup holder and rotating basket Housing for 3 kg gas cylinders N. 2 automatic fire extinguisher in the engine room N. 1 manual fire extinguisher in the cockpit Pilot's chair folding to create dual pilot station L-shaped co-pilot's sun lounger sofa U-shaped sofa converting into sun lounger Foldaway table Material stowage peaks Step incorporated in the deck for access to side deck Swimming platform surface covered in teak wood Foldaway bathing ladder with handle Shower with mixer tap 16 amp/230 volt harbour power socket with connector cable Spotlights Object and drinks can holder Hood housing on roll bar Boathook Saloon / galley: Plexiglass sliding cabin access door Dinette sofa in leather Large dining table Galley floor covering in teak Barometer Bar corner Radio/CD with inside and outside loudspeakers TV 12/230 volt power socket Power supply panel with magnetothermal protection devices Ceiling lights and spotlights Galley worktop 2 burner gas stove Stainless sink with mixer tap Water level gauge Microwave oven 90 litre fridge 60 litre fridge in cockpit Waste container Drawers Shelves and storage spaces for crockery in light wood Owners and aft cabin: Double bed with drawers Light wood double wardrobe Reading lamps Spotlights Aft cabin: twin beds converting to double Material stowage peaks Leather sofa Light wood wardrobe compartments Ceiling lights 12/230V socket Owner/guest WC- shower: Electric marine WC S.s. washbasin with shower/mixer tap Shower curtain Light wood shelves 12/230 volt power socket Mirror Automatic shower water drainage system Teak grating Spotlights 2 x 100 amp/h batteries Utilities on power supply panel with magnetothermal protection devices 32 Amp/230 volt harbour power socket with connector cable Automatic 30 amp battery chargers 230 volt differential safety switch Galvanic insulation Cathodic protection for seacocks Deflector on harbour line/generator power panel Magnetothermal protection device for winch Battery disconnector Removable bow extension Anodised bow-roller bow peak 700 watt electric anchor winch Bruce 10 kg anchor 30 metre 8mm chain Anchor stop 2 cleats in the bow, 2 amidships and 2 in the stern, in AISI 316 s.s.
