Cox 22 fishing boat, 1984, recently fully refurbished and Volvo 28hp diesel engine serviced - ready to go!

Volvo Penta 2003 3 cylinder 28hp inboard diesel engine (1984) with shaft drive to fixed 3 blade propeller. 12 gallon copper fuel tank. Consumption per hour is around half a gallon or less at a cruising speed of 6 knots.

Mariner auxiliary 3.3hp 2 stroke outboard motor on transom bracket.

Alternator charging to 2 x 12v batteries (70 Amp/hr and 110 Amp/hr). Solar panel. 240v shore power with Sterling battery management system.

Compass, Seafarer echo sounder, Garmin 172C plotter, Cobra DSC VHF radio, FM/AM radio, GPS, navigation lights, anchor light.

Horseshoe lifebuoy, 2 lifejackets, fire extinguisher, manual and electric bilge pumps.

Pulpit and guardwires, cockpit tonneau cover, wheel or tiller steering, 15lb CQR anchor with chain and warp, SL electric anchor windlass, boathook, mooring warps and fenders. Some fishing rods & reels.

Her galley has a gas cooker with 2 burners & grill (2 gas bottles included), sink with pots, pans, cutlery and crockery. Water supply from 5 gallon freshwater container. Red upholstery. Sea toilet on board but not connected. TV aerial.

"Starbird" has just undergone a major refit, her cockpit, wheelhouse and interior have been painted. A new starter motor has just been fitted to the engine, plus new impeller. Overall a super little fishing boat, ideal for local angling!
