The Contest 48CS is designed and built to be sailed by a small crew in comfort. She is an all-round performer, capable of making swift passages. Designed by Dick Zaal and Georg Nissen, the Contest 48CS offers an optional winged keel designed in close cooperation with Piet van Oossanen (who also designed the famous wing keel of Australia when she won the America's Cup) of the Marin Naval Institute.
