DESCRIPTION

'Aldabra', this Colvic Countess 33 Deck Saloon yacht is a well-proven offshore cruiser designed by Ian Anderson. Hull built in1986 and fitted out over ten years, the boat was then launched in 1996. Boasting a large, light, and well-appointed interior, she comes with shallow draft twin keels, giving her added versatility. Powered by a BMC 1.5 35hp diesel engine, she also has a navigation suite and diesel heating. Teak interior finish with two separate cabins and two head compartments and is well suited to spending extended time afloat at a very affordable price.

Construction

Colvic Countess 33 Deck Saloon (W.H), built by Colvic Craft Limited (UK) in 1985/6 #9232 to a design by Ian Anderson. The internal fit-out was completed at New Ferry (Wirral) with the final survey assessment completed in 1996 prior to her launching.

As you enter via the companionway steps into the saloon on the starboard side is a chart table and stool, further forward is a linear galley equipped with a double stainless steel sink with hot & cold water, fridge with ice box, Taylor gas oven and grill with two burner hob, & storage lockers.

Opposite is a fixed centreline wooden table with L-shaped seating.

Further forward is a head on the port side equipped with a Lavac manual marine toilet (with a holding tank), washbasin, shower, hot and cold mixer taps, mirror, and storage cupboards.

There is a forepeak cabin with a double V berth, a deck hatch for ventilation, reading lights, and storage lockers.

Midships on the port side is a single berth and there is also a further double berth on the starboard aft quarter, a seat, additional storage cupboards, reading lights, and an opening deck hatch for ventilation.

Ensuite heads in the aft cabin with a Lavac manual marine toilet (with a holding tank), washbasin, shower, hot and cold mixer taps, mirror, and storage cupboards.

Storage behind all seating and under all berths.
