1979, Cobra 850, twin, fabulous example, new Sole diesel fitted in 2013/4 with new prop shaft and propeller, furling genoa, tillerpilot, survey in 2012.
Sole Mini 17 inboard diesel engine (16hp) fitted new in 2013/4 with new propeller and prop shaft fitted at the same time. Alternator charging to 2 x 12v heavy duty batteries. Heat exchanger. Engine hours approx 50.
Plastimo compass (2003), hand held compass, NASA Clipper echo sounder (2003), Cobra DSC VHF Radio (2003), FM/AM radio, windvane at masthead, Garmin GPS (2003), radar reflector, clock and barometer, navigation light, steaming light, tri colour masthead light and anchor light.

Her galley has a gas cooker (2013) with 2 burners and grill, various pots, pans, cutlery and crockery, electric pumped water supply to the sink from a fixed water tank, marine toilet (2013/4) in separate heads compartment. Green striped fabric saloon upholstery (renewed 2010).
She has 5 berths in 2 cabins including 2 âVâ berths with insert to form a double in the forward cabin, her saloon has a single berth to port with insert to make a double and there is a further single quarter berth to starboard.
âHerons Ventureâ was purchased by her current owner in 2011. Her previous owner had spent a great deal of time and money on improvement works including new electronics, head linings, running rigging, roller genoa, stack pack mainsail system and new internal upholstery. In addition the hull has been professionally re-sprayed and fully epoxy treated. The present owner has carried on with upgrades such as the new Sole diesel engine fitted just under 3 years ago and only having run 50 hours! The water system has been replaced, also new marine toilet and new cooker! She is afloat and ready to sail!
