‘Rock n Roll’ is a proven offshore racing yacht with a rich pedigree and race successes, with podium places in Class 40 events, including a 3rd in Transat Jacques Vabre. Launched in 2009, she was designed by Owen Clarke and built in foam cored epoxy E-Glass layup to Category 0 safety standards with additional watertight bulkheads. With a history of competitive offshore campaigns, she has demonstrated exceptional resilience, reliability and performance in some of the toughest sailing conditions.
Following a comprehensive refit in 2022–2023, ‘Rock n Roll’ has been further updated. She features a lightweight hull for all round sailing performance, carbon rig, upgraded electronics, and a new carbon main and headsail (2023). With reinforced structural elements, refined ballast system, and ergonomic deck layout for efficient sail handling, ‘Rock n Roll’ is fully equipped for short-handed offshore campaigns.
With a recent refit and ocean-proven design she’s an ideal entry for the 2027–28 Global Solo Challenge ready to take on the world’s toughest oceans with confidence and speed.
