Boat Overview
LADY KC is a wonderful pocket cruiser featuring twin economical 135 hp Honda 4-stroke engines. The large cockpit and salon provide excellent options for daytime, weekend, or longer cruising. C-Dory has a unique build where the hull and topsides are constructed separately. These pieces are then glassed into one piece, avoiding the numerous screws used by other builders.
Catamaran Features
The TomCat is a versatile catamaran designed for various conditions. Rated for offshore use, it performs well in both the cold waters of Alaska and the warm waters of Florida and Hawaii. It comfortably cruises between 10 and 30 knots, with an efficient true planing hull that ensures flat and predictable turns. The stability of its platform offers true recreational freedom, allowing the TomCat to cut through the water quickly and efficiently to reach your destination.
Performance and Stability
Quick and nimble, the TomCat 255 provides the stability and ride of a much larger vessel. It lifts up on plane quickly with minimal change in attitude. Once on step, the hull runs clean and dry, with limited bow spray deflected by hard chines extending all the way forward. In turns, wash along the sides is managed by a step in the hull positioned a few inches above the water line. The TomCat 255 remains dry, even during aggressive turns. Stability is exceptional; even at 30+ knots, the boat executes clean, flat turns without any slip or complaints from the hull or props.
Cabin and Amenities
The spacious all-weather cabin features a Queen size plus berth in the bow, measuring 84" x 64". There is a dinette on the port side with a convertible forward-facing seat that transforms into a roomy single berth. The full-featured galley includes hot and cold water, ample counter space, and storage. An enclosed head is located on the starboard side, just aft of the galley, equipped with a marine head and hot and cold shower. The cabin provides seating for four with 360-degree visibility through the windows at all speeds.
Cockpit and Storage
The aft deck offers over 45 square feet of cockpit space and is self-bailing. It includes a pair of four-foot insulated fish boxes with macerator pumps. The fuel tanks are situated in each pontoon and can be accessed or removed through hatches under the interior cabinetry.
