Miss Geneste is one of a kind! A true classic 1960s half wood GRP cruiser.
Over the past 13 years of ownership nothing has been left untouched. From of new decks in marine ply and the replacement of the majority of the structural Timbers. All done by a local shipwright. Both engines have been fully rebuilt and now start on the botton. The replacement of both the props plus many other upgrades.
As you step into the wheelhouse you will see a boat of true workmanship. And L-shaped sofa drinks cabinet and helmsman position. Including depth sounder speed log radar GPS and all other usual dials. The wheel house is in lovely condition fully carpeted curtained and has recently had upgraded fabric on the seating.
Stepping down into the galley you will find sink with full running hot and cold water a fridge with small freezer 2 burner hob with grill and oven also there is the hot water boiler cupboards drawers for food and utensil storage.
You can then enter the first head where you will find toilet storage cabinets shower and sink and also for the size of the craft very spacious.
Stepping into the rear cabin you will find wardrobe two single beds one to starboard and one to port cabinet with dressing table.
To the bow of the boat you will also find another cabin with two single beds that turn into a double a toilet and sink and another wardrobe.
Mechanically the boat is very sound, and I have spent many hours at sea in this boat. She has twin Perkins engines with BorgWarner velvet drive gear boxes all of which are all in great working condition.
Recent upgrades include 1000 Watt inverter propex hot air heating is also piped throughout the boat.
Outside of the boat you will find a beautiful mahogany superstructure and white painted tops all of which have been re varnished and painted this year treadmark covered decks with mahogany hand rails front anchor winch fendering VHF aerials life rings and also the wheel house with center webasto roof for those hot days. To the back you will also find a gas locker which can hold 2x14 kilogrammes gas bottles and a beautifully handmade bathing platform and set of ladders.
