Safety and Maintenance
All systems, including fire extinguishers, shut offs, through valves, hatch seals, Epirb, horn, PA system, emergency exits, strobe lights, head, high water alarms, and all 3 bilge pumps are inspected and tested per Coast Guard regulations at least once a month and logged.
The entire boat is fresh water washed and rinsed after each return to the dock. Fire extinguishers, life float, and life ring are regularly waxed to prevent corrosion and sun damage.
Recent Maintenance (January 2016)
- Replaced cutlass bearing
- Replaced all zincs and ensured proper grounding throughout the vessel
- Rebuilt the raw water through hull shutoff valve
- Replaced raw water hoses with new flex hose
- Re-oiled the teak
- Cleaned or replaced all filters
- Changed oil
- Flushed radiator and replaced coolants
- Replaced flashlights
- Serviced hydraulic steering
- Touched up any bottom paint as needed
- Re-painted back deck with non-skid
- Re-silicon treated all through deck rubber seals and lines
- Serviced both batteries and checked acid levels with a hydrometer
- Serviced fire extinguishers
- Inspected all 22 life jackets and replaced as needed
- Demonstrated to the Coast Guard all through hull valves, steering, and rudder travel during hull inspection
Inspection and Offers
As reflected on the COI, hull credit was awarded, and the next hull inspection is due in January 2018. This listing has been on the market for a couple of months. Please submit any and all offers today!
