Accommodation

The Beneteau First 32 offers accommodation for up 6/7 in three cabins. Patterned blue fabric upholstery in fore and aft cabins. Fore cabin with shelves, hanging locker and infill to form double berth, also a cot berth can be rigged in the fore cabin to provide an extra berth. Saloon with large shelf to starboard, settee berths to port and starboard, drop leaf table amidships and shelves outboard of starboard berth. Galley to port with s/steel sink, pressurised fresh water supply, cool box, Plastimo gimballed two burner gas cooker with oven and grill, s/steel grab bar, crockery and good stowage lockers. Navigation station to starboard with good size chart table, chart stowage, instrumentation and navigators seat. Separate head with manually operated sea discharge WC, wash basin, manual fresh water pump, wet and storage lockers. Engine under companionway steps up to cockpit with large storage locker. Kitchenware included.

Sails & Spars

Masthead Bermudan sloop, silver anodised alloy deck stepped mast, slab reefing boom and spinnaker pole. Stainless steel standing rigging (2009). Plastimo headsail furling gear (1999), with genoa whisker pole, Backstay adjuster. Baby stay. Terylene running rigging. Kemp sail pack.

Mechanical Systems

The Beneteau First 32 is powered by a single Yanmar 2QM15 two cylinder 15hp diesel engine, shaft drive to a fixed 3 bladed propeller with rope cutter. Engine serviced by the owners every year in their ownership.

Comprehensive kit of tools and spares including a vacuum oil extractor pump, sundry items/spares for prop cutter etc.

2 x 12 volt batteries (domestic 110Ah, engine CCA 330) charging from the engine alternator, 240-volt battery charger, shore power connection also fitted.

Owned by the current owners for the last 16 years, selling due to age related illnesses. They have sailed the boat extensively throughout the Northern European coast, and the south coast of the UK. A well cared for yacht viewing highly recommended. The boat is ready to be sailed away. A 2011 survey is available on request.

History & Construction

Built by Beneteau and designed by Jean Berret. Ivory GRP hull and decks, with moulded-in non-slip surfaces. Cast iron fin keel. Tiller steering to spade hung rudder. Anodised aluminium toe rails. Stainless steel stanchions, pulpit and pushpit quarters. Teak battens to cockpit seats and transom platform. Last surveyed in 2011. Last out of the water in May 2016 when the yacht was antifouled, anodes changed.
