DESCRIPTION

The idea is elegant and simple; a pretty boat, classic lines, powered with a single diesel, add a bow thruster for easy handling and the result is the eye catching Back Cove 29! With traditional Downeast heritage and contemporary performance the back Cove 29 is a highly sought after vessel.
Her immediate heritage is North End Composites but her origins go back to Sabre, which was founded in 1970. Sabre acquired North End Composites in Rockland Maine in 1995, a world leader in marine composites.
She has a deep-V hull with a sharp entry, a 22-degree deadrise amidships to 16 degrees at the transom. A shallow prop pocket allows for a low mounted motor for good balance and center of gravity. A very solid boat, the hull is vacuum bagged Divinycell core with multi-axial E-glass reinforcement and encapsulated foam stringers. The deck is balsa cored.
“Razz-Ma-Tazz II” is an excellent example, she is tasteful and not overstated with instantaneous appeal at first glance. The current owners purchased her at the end of 2020 with 1,169 hours, in Maine. She then was transported by truck to SC where she underwent an extensive inspection, service updates and modifications over several months, to meet the new owners’ high standards. Razz-Ma-Tazz II has continued to receive regular maintenance and upgrades meeting and exceeding those high standards. She is currently berthed in South Carolina just north of Hilton Head.
