The Artekho H-35 is a Finnish built cruiser-racer known for its proven design and respected sailing performance. The interior may be quite small by modern 35 footer standards due to her modest beam, but this is compensated by her sparkling performance and excellent stability. The boat is particularly easy to sail with a light helm and all lines led aft to the deep safe cockpit. 'Fifty Shades' has many recent improvements including a new engine in 2017, new standing rigging, and an interior refit under her current ownership. A very well presented yacht, ready to go.

The accommodation offers five berths in two cabins with approx 6ft max. headroom. In the forecabin, there is a V-berth with in-fill and stowage below. An opening hatch (new 2017) leads to the foredeck. A door (currently in storage) separates the forepeak from the full width heads compartment fitted with a Jasco marine toilet (new 2017, unused) and a hanging locker opposite. The saloon features two settee berths, a table with drop leaf, and stowage outboard. The chart table is aft to starboard with a quarter berth behind. The galley is aft to port and includes a Plastimo Neptune 4500 two burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven (new 2017 and very lightly used), and a stainless steel sink with pressurized cold water supply. The upholstery is red. The chart table and internal woodwork were renewed in 2017, along with headlinings and panels. The gas system was replaced in 2017.
Located behind the companionway with access from the cockpit and under the companionway steps is the Yanmar 3YM20, three cylinder, 21hp diesel engine. The engine was installed new in 2017, including a new shaft and propeller. It features electric start and is freshwater cooled via a heat exchanger. The shaft drives a two-bladed folding propeller. There is a single lever control and a 60 litre fuel capacity in a plastic tank. The maximum speed under power is 6 knots. The engine has only completed approximately 20 hours from installation.
There are 3 x 12 volt batteries charging from the engine alternator. A 240v shore power system is equipped with a Victron battery charger and ring main. LED lighting is installed throughout. The boat was fully rewired in 2017, including new batteries, 12v sockets, and USB ports.
This is a fractional rigged sloop with an anodised aluminium Selden mast and boom by Selden. The standing rigging is stainless steel (new 2017). It features a backstay adjuster (no runners) and Terylene running rigging. The mainsail is slab reefing with lazyjacks and a stack pack. The headsail furling system is by Facnor, and there is a self-tacking jib track. Lines are led aft to the cockpit with Spinlock clutches. The winches include:
There is a mainsheet traveller in the cockpit, along with spinnaker and jockey poles.
Built in 1984 by Artekno Oy, Finland, to a design by Hans Groop. The underwater hull was epoxy coated in 2002. It features a light grey GRP hull with a cove line and a white GRP superstructure with moulded non-slip to the deck and grey Treadmaster in the cockpit (new 2018). The boat has a lead fin keel, skeg hung rudder, and tiller steering (tiller new 2017). The cockpit is aft self-draining.
