The Arcona 380 is rarely available on the brokerage market. With less than 350 engine hours and 3000 nm logged, as a 4 year old yacht, Triarchy is in great condition and ready to sail. With three cabins and eight berths, she has been beautifully cared for and professionally looked after, with all the regular servicing and upkeep that you would expect from an Arcona owner.
The current owner is buying a much larger boat and is therefore reluctantly selling.
The beautiful hull form of the Arcona 380 has produced a boat that is outstanding in strong winds and impressively stiff to windward. Under sail, she is wonderfully balanced and responsive to the helm with her twin wheels.
There are some extras that could also be made available with the sale of the boat including:
Chris Beeson in his review of the Arcona 380 in Yachting Monthly, September 2014, says:
“For anyone who actively and genuinely enjoys the business of sailing, this boat is the benchmark. I defy anyone to sail this boat and not smile as she leans gently on a gust and surges forward. It’s pure sailing pleasure.”
“You’ll find cheaper 40-footers, but you’d be hard-pushed to find a better compromise between looks, performance and stability. Or one that’s more thrilling to sail.” – Sailing Today, Online, Test on Arcona 380
Triarchy
The beautiful hull form of the new Arcona 380 has produced a boat that is outstanding in strong winds and impressively stiff to windward. Under sail, she is wonderfully balanced and responsive to the helm with her twin wheels.
The Arcona 380 is built with the latest materials and advanced techniques. Her lay-up, which incorporates a 20mm Divynicell foam core everywhere except in the areas of high structural stress, employs the latest vacuum infusion technology. All bulkheads are bonded to the hull and deck for added strength. At the heart of the boat is the galvanised steel cradle, taking all the dynamic loads of rig, mast, and keel, ensuring that the boat is both strong and stiff as well as responsive.
Her interior reflects Arcona Yachts’ attention to detail and her Swedish roots. The large, light, and airy saloon is beautifully handcrafted in farmed Khaya mahogany.
Triarchy is beautifully finished and in excellent condition below decks with teak & holly flooring.
High quality grey/light blue flecked upholstery throughout. Large mahogany table with folding leaves in the centre of the cabin. Built in under table drinks cupboard and draw, drinks section also pulls forward as a draw. Bookshelves and large cupboards on port and starboard sides. Extensive storage space behind seat cushions – ideal for storing beers and wine! Some under seat storage too- the rest is taken up by the fuel and water tanks. There are large coach roof hatches in main cabin and forward master cabin, with blinds and mosquito blinds.
The chart table has a movable position; to create more space when the dining table is at full size, and an additional bunk. Skippers seat with two draws. This position also houses the switch panel, the DSC VHF radio, the Fusion entertainment system, gauges for water and fuel tanks and electric systems. Also includes two USB charging points. The electric master switch is behind this panel – opened with a safety latch.
There are three double cabins, one forward and two aft – excellent design makes these cabins spacious with good headroom in each. The cabins are light and airy with windows/curtains and hatch blinds (forward master cabin). There is good cupboard storage and hanging space and extensive storage space under each bunk. The forward cabin also has two large storage draws under the bed.
There is an L shaped galley with twin sinks and work surface. Ample storage and draws for all kitchen equipment and crockery/cutlery and good larder space. All with push button locker knobs to prevent opening at sea.
Camping gaz regulated gimballed Eno cooker with two burner rings and oven. Two large camping gas containers in aft port locker.
Two compartment fridge with Isotherm water-cooled upgrade.
UK plug socket to the left side of the galley – works when connected to shore power.
Hot water system- heated by engine or when connected to shore power.
Eberspacher heater with warm air outlets in each cabin, main cabin and heads- controls near main switch panel.
Electric bilge pump and separate bilge pump for the shower in the heads.
Battery charger and inverter system.
Her deck layout, wide side decks, and roomy cockpit make her easy to handle under sail, giving wonderful sailing performance.
