This very beautiful and luxurious Aquastar was finished and delivered in the Netherlands by P. Valk. The Yanmar of 440 hp fits perfectly with this quality yacht that can reach a speed of 20 knots. It is not just the Yanmar that is top of the line. Shearwater itself and all its components are designed to provide the owner with complete reliability, both at sea and on inland waterways. The yacht has always been maintained professionally and on time and is stored inside during the winter. In recent years much has been renewed such as the upholstery and navigation equipment.
Our comments
- The current owner purchased the vessel in 2017 under our supervision. At the time, a purchase survey was done by expert K. Coers. The vessel had only a few minor defects which have been repaired. The expert report can be seen during a visit to the boat. As well as all invoices of the work below.
- We have now thoroughly inspected the vessel again. In addition to the points of attention mentioned in the specifications (see below), we found that the rubber fender shows dryness cracks in a few places. This is a known ailment. We also think that the teak in the cockpit needs to be cleaned thoroughly/professionally.
- People who are seriously interested can view the yacht in Boornzwaag by appointment and under supervision of the broker.

Layout
- Open cockpit with benches all around. Storage space in the banks. Mirrored door to swimming platform. Under the cockpit floor a spacious storage room.
- Salon with four doors opening to the cockpit. To starboard the corner seat with drawers underneath. Port side cabinets with an extra refrigerator. In front of the salon the steering position with extensive instrumentation and navigation center. To starboard is a passenger seat with its own navigation center.
- Forward cabin with directly to starboard the corner kitchen with gas oven, refrigerator, hood and sink with mixer tap. Opposite the kitchen the dinette with lots of cabinets underneath. Next to the kitchen is the bathroom with shower, electric toilet and washbasin.
