Custom ONE of a kind!! Reel head turner: Seller maintained GREAT condition! The Adams Craft is a unique piece of maritime history. But the first question is; What is an Adams Craft? An Adams Craft is a custom made blueprinted and hand-built boat which takes two years to produce. The hull used at the beginning of the project is typically a Chris Craft hull and then it is reworked to produce the amazing boat you see. Be Notified that the title can say Chris Craft. The G68 we have here is one of 5 Adams Crafts produced. There were four 23 footers and one 17-foot boat. We currently have two 23-foot Adam's Crafts and the one 17-foot boat up for immediate sale. The other two have been sold! The Adam's Craft is hand-crafted by talking the hull of an old Chris Craft and it is then cut down to the blueprinted specifications and re-manufactured to the beauty and quality that you will see it the photographs. The G68 was originally manufactured off of a late 1968 or 1969 Chris Craft fiberglass hull and was completed in 2009. She was then completely redone in 2018. The hull is a deep V design and the transom is cut down to a 24-degree deadrise giving this boat a powerful and well riding hull. The new top deck of the Adams Craft are all marine grade plywood base that is then bonded to the hull not screwed together like the average production boat. This gives the boat more strength. The deck is then laid with a fine Sapele Mahogany giving her that classic wood boat look. But it only gets better from there. The coming panels are made of a Brazilian Mahogany and the dash is made using an African Mahogany for its ability to curve and its natural beauty. The there are over 14 coats of lacquer to complete the magnificent classic look of the woody' from the past. The engine in the G68 is center placed for a better balance in the boat it gives her limited to no bow rise. The boat utilizes a V drive system and a specially made bronze propeller giving her more push and power. The motor in the G68 is a newly bought rebuilt Crusader that used completely new components. The big block moves this classic beauty at 50+ at wot. the drive system is a LOW ANGLE SHAFT & STRUT WITH ACME PERFORMANCE PROP. The boat includes the tandem axle trailer and has a new MCO. The stringer system is the Adams Craft boats are all fiberglass except for the wood stringer motor mounts which are fiberglass encased leaving zero exposed wood in her. The boat is 23 ft LOA with a 7 ft 6 in. beam and weighs approx. 3300 lbs. the new aluminum fuel cell carries 49 gallons of fuel. The Adams Craft boats are perfect for a person who seeks the uniqueness and classic lines of the boats of the past and she would also serve well as the tender for a mega yacht because of her classic and unique look and the fact that she is only one of four 23 ft Adams Crafts produced. If you want to be an individual and have one of the finest reproduced classics ever built, this is the product for you. Because of the original hull, the boat is considered a 1968 vessel but that is far from the truth which you will see as you view the photographs of this amazing boat.
