Post Build EnhancementsSignificant Upgrades The owners had Vandal built, to realize a dream of long distance family cruising - with Pacific sailing in mind.
With this in mind, the owners spent many months upgrading and testing improvements, to beef her up, in order to make her "pacific ready". The improvements were numerous, including building an entirely new (more rugged) mast, a new sail package and replacing her centerboards, with a deep cruising keel. The result was a boat that was PACIFIC STRONG. She could handle being fully loaded and sailed to her true potential.
