Sunseeker Portofino 46 Review

Sunseeker Portofino 46 Review

The Sunseeker Portofino 46 is a maneuverable offshore express cruiser with great performance and range, coupled with Sunseeker’s renowned comfort and attention to detail. The boat can comfortably accommodate 10 people for day trips, or sleep up to six adults for a weekend away. The spacious saloon of the Sunseeker Portofino 46 has deep, upholstered seating around a folding dining table with a large well-equipped galley. Both the single and double cabins have their own en suite and are finished to the same luxurious level as the main saloon with cherry wood and chrome fixtures. A secondhand Sunseeker Portofino 46 is a great purchase if you want the little luxuries that make life onboard easy and pleasurable.

Who and what was this boat designed for?

The Sunseeker Portofino 46, powered by twin diesel 480 Volvo TAMD 75 EDC engine, is designed for high-performance offshore and coastal cruising. The ride is smooth and thanks to a hull that combines wide down-turned chines, sharp bow entry and a prominent keel to create a cushion of air for the hull to ride on. When the boat is at anchor, the swim platform makes water fun and sports very easy and allows for simple launching and recovery of the tender .

What commentators say about this boat?

She's an express cruiser with all the style and luxury of her namesake, Portofino, that magnificently beautiful seaside town on the Italian Riviera south of Genoa

With her sleek trademark lines, she provides the performance and maneuverability of only the very best sports cruisers.

This boat didn't slice through the swells she carved her way out to sea.

These babies steer and handle like sports cars, no matter how big they are.

The Portofino 46 is an outstanding performance sports cruiser with few rivals.

The Sunseeker Portofino 46 remains one of the sexiest sports cruisers ever built.

As with all Sunseekers, the workmanship is flawless, the surroundings are opulent and the fixtures and fittings are too numerous to mention.
