One of the most anticipated launches at the Southampton Boat Show this year will be the much-awaited ‘Ranger 25 Vengeance’ from Itchenor based Ring Powercraft. As a key feature, this cutting-edge leisure craft will sport a brand new monocoque carbon fibre steering wheel from composite specialist Carbonautica, already the leading global supplier of composite steering wheels for the sailing yacht industry.
“We are very excited about the collaboration between Carbonautica and Ring. The shared values of innovation, quality and above all enjoyment fit perfectly, making the Ranger 25 the ideal vessel for our global launch” said John Seed, Managing Director of Carbonautica International.
“We are delighted to be able to partner with Carbonautica on our new Ranger, a boat which not only delivers the performance that you would expect from the Ring brand but also finds the right balance with luxury family boating. Carbonautica are a perfect fit for this project with their innovation and quality adding to the driving experience,” commented David Jackson, CEO of Ring Powercraft.
The Ring Ranger 25 Vengeance will world premiere at the Southampton Boat Show on stand F005 from September 13th to 22nd.
Carbonautica is the world’s leading manufacturer of composite marine steering wheels. Since its foundation in 1998, Carbonautica has produced the finest composite components including carbon components for specialist applications as diverse as professional racing bicycles to rotors for radio controlled helicopters. It now supplies composite steering wheels and gangways to all the leading sailing yacht manufacturers in the world.
Mike Ring, founder of this heritage brand, has built an outstanding reputation for ground-breaking high-performance hulls over the past 50 years, with exceptional manoeuvrability and rough water handling, that have resulted in numerous racing accolades and speed records. The Ring ethos is not to design and build solely for racing, but to create family sports boats that can be successfully raced due to their fantastic handling, tracking and top end speed. Speed Records and success in powerboat and waterski racing endorse the quality of the designs. The harsh environment and punishment received from being in these competitive fields show the quality of manufacture and strength of design, which remains the core of the company strategy.
The performance DNA of the Ring names continues.
