Lovely example of the ever popular and easy to handle sailing cruiser from the Jeanneau stable. She boasts two double cabins, a recently recovered, comfortable saloon and a spacious cockpit with deep locker stowage and binnacle mounted wheel steering. Hull was "Copper coated" in 2020. New Raymarine colour chart plotter, AIS transmitter and autopilot. Her standing rigging was certified in 2018 and she had a new mainsail in 2019. Her canvas work is in smart navy "Sunbrella" and in excellent condition.
This is an ideal yacht for those wishing to dip their toes into yacht ownership or for those looking to downsize. She is very easy to sail and would suit either two couples or a family with young children.
Vessel powered by a powerful yet economical inboard Yanmar 2GM20. This 18hp workhorse has been regularly maintained and is serviced ready for the season. Engine start panel in cockpit with visual and audible alarms for high temperature, oil pressure and charging. Single lever engine control. The Engine is housed beneath the removable companionway steps. Additional access is via the heads and aft cabin, allowing all side access for servicing. Reduction gearbox driving a stainless steel shaft and 2-bladed fixed propeller.
Bank of 2x12V batteries fitted with isolators. These provide engine start and domestic power and were replaced in 2022. The batteries are recharged via the engine alternator or the brand NEW smart battery charger.
Bermudan sloop rigged sail plan with deck stepped aluminium spars and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging checked and certificated by local rigger in 2018.
Simple sail plan with boom mounted semi battened mainsail situated within a smart navy blue stack pack. Roller furling headsail system with sheets led aft to helm via genoa tracks and jammers. Furling genoa with UV Strip.

Well appointed sailing yacht with separate bow and stern cabins. There are two additional berths in the saloon. The spacious interior with 6 foot headroom is accessed via the companionway washboard and sliding hatch, Three steps down and you are in the bright, light stained interior woodwork, smart teak and holly flooring and recently recovered saloon seating. The fabric of choice was easy clean cream vinyl with diamond stitch pattern.
To port is the galley featuring a stainless steel, 2-burner hob, space saving circular stainless steel sink with cold pressurised water and a top loading refrigerator. There is plentiful storage as well with two hull mounted cupboards with double sliding doors and a further three storage units below the galley for pots, pans and cleaning utensils.
Aft is the rear double berthed cabin with storage below the bunks. Additional storage in the hanging locker. 12V reading lights.
Opposite the galley is the chart table with forward facing seat. There is chart storage in the table and cubby storage adjacent. 12V switch panel with illuminating functions. Further storage cupboard mounted above starboard settee.
Aft of the chart table is the heads compartment with Jabsco sea toilet. This has been recently serviced. Moulded sink unit with pull-out pressurised tap. Storage adjacent. Mirrored vanity unit with storage. 12V lighting.
Returning to the saloon you have a large offset saloon table with drop leaf on starboard side to allow easy access forward to the fore cabin. The saloon seating has been recovered in 2021 and will double as two additional singles if required. There is storage behind the back rests and below the seating.
In the bow is the forward cabin with infill. Hanging lockers port and starboard. Opening deck hatch for light and ventilation. 122V lighting.
GRP Constructed sailing yacht with 1.40m cast iron fin keel and semi balanced rudder with wheel steering. Underwater areas were stripped back and treated with "Coppercoat" in 2020. White topsides with smart navy vinyl coveline striping. Hull to deck join finished with aluminium toe rail. Cast bow fitting with anchor roller and fairlead, Self bailing anchor locker with strong point and lid.
Nice wide side decks finished in diamond point, moulded non slip. Stainless steel bow and stern rails joined by stainless steel stanchions with double set of coated guardwires. Large self bailing cockpit with teak topped locker seating. Cavernous sail locker on starboard side. Binnacle with stainless steel steering wheel and smart navy canvas covers. Access to bathing platform with stainless steel bathing ladder.
