A gorgeous Contour 50 that offers the very best of trimaran sailing: speed, windward-capability and sea-kindliness. ALEXANDRA has been extensively refit in 2015, early 2016 and again in 2018: new carbon mast, boom, standing rigging, all new composite sails (mainsail, genoa and genaker), furlers, running rigging and electronics. She sports an in boom furler for ease of handling.

The hulls were Awl-gripped in 2019. An Ocean Volt electric motor and power pack provides a silent back-up to the main diesel engine. This is a rare and welcome feature on a performance sailing yacht.

She is looking very smart and is sailing now. Transiting Panama early 2019, she headed west to Galapagos and Tahiti. If you are tired of motor-sailing on heavy condo-marans or monohulls that are more trawler than sailor, here is a craft that will bring you the pleasure of sailing over 10 kts all the time at all angles.
