OWNERS COMMENTS
"French Herring" was purchased by her present owners in 2007 after carefully researching the Contessa 32. A professional survey was carried out at the time. She has proven to be everything claimed for this famous design. Her owners have enjoyed cruises on the South and East coasts and sevveral North Sea crossings, with a larger crew her owners have raced her in 2 Round the Island races (5th out of 37 in 2009!) and many local events. She is a delightful boat to sail and although there are always things to be done, her owners feel that "French Herring" is in a good state of both comfort and efficiency. They are reluctantly selling as they have purchased a Dutch Barge to suit the slower pace of life ahead.
