'Caroeste' is a Westerly Centaur 26 (B Layout), designed by Laurent Giles and production built by Westerly Marine Construction Ltd in 1977. The owner has enjoyed Caroeste since acquiring her in 2009 carrying out many updates. She has been regularly maintained and her engine has been professionally serviced and winterised annually. GRP hull, deck and superstructure stiffened by bonding in of bulkheads.
Th exterior of the topsides is finished in a white gelcoat with a blue tape stripe.
The hull is of a round bilge form with a raked stem and transom stern.
Cast Iron bilge keels with a spade rudder - both keels have been reinforced*

Accomodation:
6 Berths in 2 cabins.
The accomodation consists of a two berth forecabin, then going aft an enclosed WC compartment on the port side complete with SL400 Sea toilet.
The main cabin has a dinette to port which converts to a double berth, the galley is opposite complete with sink, ice box and 2-burner gas cooker with grill. A quarter berth is located behind to port. The upholstery is covered with a green/brown and cream cloth.
The deck head and cabin sides are lined with foam backed PVC, the hull sides in the forward cabin with varnished plywood, in the quarter berths with foam back PVC.
