Possessing sleek lines combined with powerful sailing performance makes her an extremely desirable yacht. Designed by Phil Southwell,  Cariad is one of the last to be built by John Robertson Yachts at the Farrocean Yacht Yard in Cape Town, South Africa inin total). "The boat is currently moored in Gouvia Marina, on the east coast of the Ionian Island of Corfu. I often cruise the yacht with my wife; large distances are easily covered. However, with a full crew, she can be configured to be a totally different machine. A typical example is that we have just completed the 2016 South Ionian Regatta which numbered 186 starters. We finished 6th across the line, crewed by myself and three relatively inexperienced friends.
