DESCRIPTION

Remarks :

Sadler Yachts have an excellent reputation as well balanced cruisers with a good turn of speed and confidence in the build quality and unsinkable double skin make up of the structure.
This Sadler 26 benefits of a new engine in 2019 with a Beta Marine 16hp diesel engine with only 73 running hours!!
She is also the popular bilge keel version which is few and far between these days.
This is a well cared for and updated yacht with the new engine and updated electronics; she is a well-presented yacht, ready to sail away today.

Owners Remarks:
You will see from the inventory that 'Wild Goose' has been equipped for coastal cruising single-handed. She was sailed down single-handed from Troon to Southdown Marina in Cornwall non-stop, taking just four days to complete the passage. She sails superbly, managing heavy weather without trouble and averaging between 4 and 5 knots under sail. In a stronger breeze, or under power, she will do 6 knots (that is, just below hull speed which is 6.11kn). Her rig is beautifully balanced - a slight weather helm when well-heeled (which is generally accepted as ideal).
Everything now on board is to be included in the sale. We intend that the buyer will use the boat equipped as it currently is, without needing to buy other equipment.
The navigation and the reefing equipment are conventional, by choice. She's a pretty boat; wherever we go, she's admired, as are all the Sadler range.
We are selling 'Wild Goose' with great reluctance, due to health problems which have involved major surgery and will be dealt with in the next 12 months with further operations. We hope to pass 'Wild Goose' to a new owner who will get as much delight from her as we have.
