IDENTIFICATION OF THE VESSEL:
The shape of the hull gives it great form stability and makes the boat look more like a racer
than a classic cruising yacht, especially at the aft. The wide stern not only provides good
stability but it also allows it to accommodate two twin cabins for guests and an aft garage for
the tender. Two wheels are available for the greater ease of the helmsman, while two rudders
confer manoeuvrability also at high heeling angles.
The forward part of the hull is characterized by lightly curved waterlines, an almost vertical
bow and “U” shaped sections.
Light alloy (5083 Al-Mg 4.5Mn) has been chosen for the hull. This choice is the consequence
of the selection of yard made by the owner; it fully meets good design experience in metalhulls (steel, light alloy and titanium). The structure is longitudinal and the positioning oftransversal frames and bulkheads was studied with the designers of the interior, in order to integrate the structures into the furniture. The scantling of the most loaded areas of the hull was verified with F.E.A.
The yacht is classed ✠ 100 – A – 1.1 “Y” at RINA.
The boat has all the comforts required for luxury cruises and short-handed sailing: a
refrigerator, freezer, 100 l/h water maker, air conditioning, laundry, electric cookers and oven,
electric-hydraulic commander for winches, furlers and stern door, bow thrusters, etc.
Guests are accommodated in two cabins, aft of the main engine trunk, each with two bunk
beds and a private bathroom; the central pilot house, with wide panoramic windows, includes
the dining area, a settee and the internal steering station, with autopilot commands, GPS chart
plotter, radar, meteofax receiver, mini M telephone, VHF and all the controls for the electric
plant and engine. The owner’s cabin is just forward: it is fitted with a central double bed, a
second bed and a spacious bathroom. The crew cabin is between the fore peak and the
owner’s cabin, and can be accessed through a hatch from the deck and through a watertight
door from the owner’s cabin; it has a wardrobe, berth and private bathroom.

Electricity is provided by a 12 kW ONAN generator and the boat is powered by a VOLVO
TAMD41P engine (200 Hp) that can give it a speed of more than 10 knots; its range exceeds
700 nautical miles when sailing at 9 knots.
The main sail is fully battened, with a “lazy jack”/”lazy bag” stowing system; each of the first
two reefing lines is in a single circuit, so that the sail can be reefed from the aft cockpit. Both
the genoa and the runners are expected to be used only in heavy sea conditions.
