Sail La V is a Hunter 54 that was built in 1983 by Hunter Marine and is a fine
example of a fast and comfortable cruiser that is ideal for local and extended
cruising be it Catalina, the Channel Islands or even Mexico.
Designed by Warren Luhrs and J. Cherubini, Hunter only built 40 of these
performance cruisers from. This 54’s cutter rig was replaced in 2014
and boosts a sail area of 907 sq. feet while the boat weighs in at 20,500 lbs. and
features a transom that opens for your fully inflated tender.
Sail LA V has Signet instruments and a Yanmar 77 Turbo diesel engine with
approximately 1800 hours. The two separate staterooms each with its own
dedicated head and shower, make for great privacy when cruising with friends
and family.
