The Horizon PC60 demonstrates a perfect blend of elegance, stability and efficiency. The PC60 is a four stateroom, three head layout with the highlight featuring her on-deck master with en suite head. The galley and salon encompass nearly the yachts full 24' beam and open up to the aft deck arranged with a centerline dinette. Her climate controlled flybridge features a well arranged wet bar area with seating at the bar to port, a centerline helm and an L-shaped dinette to starboard. On the aft deck of the flybridge is where you will find the ships tender and ES1000 davit included with the yacht. Twin generators and a 1500 gallon per day water maker make remote and extended trips a breeze. Her twin Cummins QSM-11 engines give an easy cruise at 18-19 knots with a range of over 400 miles. The exterior of the yacht is protected by a ceramic coated finish and all of the maintenance is up to date. Operating this vessel is easily accomplished with the addition of a Yacht Controller system in addition to the ships two docking stations. This Horizon PC60 is sure to impress the most decerning buyer and has always been privately owned and never chartered. Please call to arrange your private showing by appointment only.
"Scott Free" is hull #11 and currently owned by her second owner. She has been meticulously maintained by very knowledgable owners and maintaining this vessel in elite status has been a consistent regimen since purchased. In addition to her standard equipment highlights include the following options:
The Horizon PC60 is built with a one-piece hull lamination process. The hull is solid fiberglass below the waterline and the hull sides are cored with high-density Divinycell coring under high vacuum pressure using the patented SCRIMPTM process for high strength and reduced weight. All of the yachts deck and superstructure are also built using the patented SCRIMPTM process for high strength and reduced weight. The areas of the hull above the waterline, exterior decks and furniture have a white gelcoat finish.
Entering into the Horizon PC60 salon you will notice the feel and elegance of a yacht in the 100' class. Her salon doors open and pocket to create a free single level platform for dinning and entertaining guest with an open airy concept. Immediately to the port side is the ships Navigation / Office center followed by the companionway to the guest quarters and guest/day head. The focus of the salon is the large wrap around sofa and panoramic views from the salon windows. Access to the on-deck master stateroom is forward of the salon and to starboard is the access to the Vip stateroom, Crew quarters and ships service area. On the aft starboard side is the full Galley wrapped with Caropree countertops and four built in bar stools. The ambiance of this space is unlike any other 60' vessel in its class giving you the impression of a much larger yacht and making great use of the yachts full 24' beam.
The Galley onboard is outfitted to entertain you and your family or for large quantities of guest. The space works well in conjunction with your two outdoor spaces to serve larger gatherings. There is plenty of space on the countertops as well as all of the amenities you will need to enjoy your experience. Highlights include:
The master stateroom onboard the PC60 is the highlight of the interior spaces. A single level sole leads you from the salon directly into the nearly full beam master. The room is filled with natural light from the 180 degree panoramic view looking over the bow area of the yacht. A large 32" Vizio LED TV is recessed in the forward book matched joinery cabinetry and raises on a actuator for viewing. The king size berth is centerline and there is a well appointed mirrored vanity to the port side and an elegant bedside settee to starboard. Cedar lined hanging lockers are on both sides of the stateroom and there is plenty of extra storage for linens and wardrobe. Down a few steps to port is the master en-suite head and shower. Dual sinks and mirrored vanity are forward as well as the large walk in stall style shower with bench seating. Along the hull side is a large port hole window with a make-up vanity and stool. Custom window treatments close the window for privacy. Moving aft is the separate head with a privacy door. Joining the two spaces is a large dressing area with full height wardrobe cabinets.
As you enter the salon and to port just down a couple of steps you will find the port side guest stateroom as well as the guest/day head. The room is arranged with (2) single berths that can easily be converted into a full double berth with a filler cushion as well as an optional Pullman berth when needed. A built in port hole window brings in natural light and is covered with custom window treatments during the day. Along the wall is built in storage creating plenty of space for storage of linens and wardrope. Moving aft there is a companionway leading to the guest head that also holds a place to secure belongings in a discreet non-conspicuous way.
Located in the starboard hull forward is the guest VIP stateroom. In most yachts this could easily be considered a master stateroom but in the PC60 it is simply the VIP stateroom. A walk around queen size berth is the focal point of the space. Plenty of natural light is introduced through the port hole window that also has a custom Roman blind for privacy. Plenty of book matched joinery line the space as well as a custom mirrored vanity and stool. A large hanging closet as well as built in storage in the joinery allow plenty of space for not only guest wardrobe but also linen storage. Secluded in a large private space in the forward stateroom guest can feel at home and have all the space one would need for extended trips. Moving aft the Vip head and shower can be found just before the utility area.
Located on the starboard hull just off the salon you will find the ships mechanical area. here you will find the ships service panels, utility space and access to the crew/captains quarters. There is an abundance of storage also under foot and access to the Guest head and shower. There is access to the ships inverter system as well as space to access the ships main shut off switches.
The aft deck of the Horizon PC60 was made for entertaining and is perhaps one of the most well thought areas of this yacht. The centerline dinette with seating for up to (8) guest and the aft bench seating give plenty of opportunities to host large parties for many guest or create the perfect setting for a romantic retreat. A well designed outdoor wet bar is to the starboard side and features a Scottsman clear ice machine, a Dometic refrigerator/freezer, a freshwater stainless sink and a large prep area. Just above the wet bar area is the Sunbrite TV and extra storage. To the port side of the aft deck is a large storage locker as well as the yachts aft control station for docking. Moving aft there is access to the yachts built in swim ladder and access to the ship service shore cord area. The sole is covered in natural teak and solid stainless rails line the areas and hull sides leading to the foredeck. Boarding is made easy by two inward folding boarding doors to Port and Starboard. A semi-spiral staircase leads to the flybridge and wide side decks lead the way to the bow. The entire aft deck area opens up to the salon and galley areas through stainless pocketed sliding doors that incorporate the space into a single level area for indoor/outdoor entertaining and dinning.
The true appreciation of "Scott Free" is put into perspective the moment you step onto her flybridge. A 360 degree full vantage view is made easy in the custom made climate controlled enclosure. A perfect balance of function and style blend together to make the space not only inviting for entertaining but also relaxing for long distance voyages. To the port side is the built in bar/outdoor kitchen area with seating for two. Centerline is the helm area outfitted with top of the line Garmin electronics and just to the starboard side of the helm is the large sun-bed that also converts to bench seating. On the aft starboard side is a large L-shaped dinette with wrap-around seating. Finally on the aft deck is the onboard davit and dingy that will convey with the sale. The climate controlled flybridge is cooled by over 24000 BTU's and helped by the custom made hard polycarbonate enclosure.
The foredeck area is an open and inviting area for cruising, sun bathing or for setting the anchor on your desired spots. To say the space is large is an understatement, there is an anchor locker large enough to walk inside. Here there is custom storage areas for paddle boards, dock lines and access to the chain locker. There is enough room to also house a few bicycles or scooters as well as any other water sport activities. To the starboard side is a large sun pad area with built in cushions for lounging. Just forward of that along the bow rail is where there are two seating areas on the each bow. Below foot is a pass-through storage locker that house all of the dock lines and fenders for the yacht. Ground tackle is 175' of chain followed by 100' of rode shackled to a 63KG Delta stainless plow anchor. There is a built in freshwater hose access located just under foot as well. The foredeck and side decks are white non-skid sole.
The engines are each located through access hatches located on the aft deck. Each engine compartment has a separate hatch and entrance. Located in the engine compartments you can access the ships main engines, dual-generators, chiller systems and all the mechanical systems. Unlike most Horizon PC60's "Scott Free" has many options and upgrades worth noting.
