Built in 1981, Dolfijn was the first of a long line of Cygnus Cyfish, a vessel that is still in production today. She is the 'Angling Wheelhouse' version of the vessel which places the wheelhouse centrally and provides generous deck space aft which has been used as a platform for fishing. 'Dolfijn' has been used as a charter boat for fishing trips off trhe Belgium coastline up to 12 miles offshore. Last survey end of 2016.

Mechanical
A single Sabre 280C developing 280hp at 2500rpm drives a conventional shaft through a reduction gearbox. The engine was overhauled in 2015 and a new turbo installed early 2017.

Accommodation
From Aft:
Cockpit area with central engine box, mostly clear of obstructions with adequate room for fishing. Entering the wheelhouse, immediately to port is a work station that reaches to the fwd end of the wheelhouse. The steering position is situated to stbd with wheel steering and single lever engine controls; the instrumentation for engine monitoring and navigational equipment is all in close proximity. Central is a companionway leading to the main accommodation area, with two 'v' shaped berths to port and stbd and access the fore-peak storage.
