Winners of ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year 2011


ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year have announced that this years winners are Iker Martínez & Xabier Fernández (ESP) and Anna Tunnicliffe (USA).

Unfortunately, Martínez and Fernández were unable to attend the ceremony in San Juan, Puerto Rico, as they are currently taking part in the first leg of the Volvo Ocean Race from Alicante, Spain to Cape Town, South Africa.

The ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year Awards have been held annually since 1994 and are the highest award a sailor can receive to commemorate their achievements.
