This years 2010 Honda RYA Youth RIB National Champion

Thirty-two youngsters from across the UK and Gibraltar will be competing for the prestigious title of 2010 Honda RYA Youth RIB National Champion. The race will commence at 1000 at the PSP Southampton Boat show on Sunday 12th September.



The race involves each competitor to manoeuvre around the course in the quickest time. The course has encorporated elements such as man over board, reversing around a buoy and high speed boat handling, to test their skill and control as well as speed.



Now in its ninth year, the Championship allows children to demonstrate and practise their skills in a safe, controlled environment. To maintain the safety each child is accompanied in the RIB by a competent adult/instructor.



The winner will be named at 1700 on the Honda stand (BO62) at the winners presentation where all prizes shall be presented by Honda UK's National Sales Manager Steve Morris and the RYA's Chief Executive Sarah Treseder.
