French founder and pilot of l'Hydroptere.ch has unveiled his new prototype in Switzerland
A new project has been unveiled in Switzerland by Alain Thébault, founder and pilot of the Hydroptère project, along with Jean-Mathieu Bourgeon, scientific manager of the project.
The prototype is a 35ft catamaran was first shown at the Decision SA shipyard, Ecublens, Switzerland and is soon to be launched on Lake Geneva.
This project, l'Hydroptère.ch will help the design team in creating l'Hydroptère maxi, which aims to beat oceanic records and follow Jules Verne’s version of ‘flying around the planet.’
