Marina dei Cesari joins MDL Mediterranean marina network

MDL Marinas have announced that they have extended their Mediterranean marina network with a new partnership agreement with Marina dei Cesari in Fano, Italy.

"Berth holders and visitors to Marina dei Cesari will continue to benefit from the existing marina management. Under the partnership agreement, we will be assisting the marina team with guidance on long-term sustainability, such as marketing activity support as well as specialist staff training and marina specific systems. The new venture will also enable us to broaden the network of Mediterranean marinas under the MDL brand to further enhance the MDL experience to both existing and new customers," says Mick Bettesworth, Managing Director, MDL Marinas International.

"We opened Marina dei Cesari as a new build in 2003 and have grown to offer an extensive range of services and facilities to berth holders and visitors. We continue to improve our performance and have since approached MDL Marinas to enter the mutually beneficial partnership agreement. MDL is a well-established marina brand and we recognised the high standards across each of the MDL marinas," says Alberto Cazziol, President of Marina dei Cesari.

Marina dei Cesari opened in 2003 and has already staged various events, such as the Fano Yacht Festival and the Fano Jazz by the Sea Festival. The marina is situated on the eastern coast of Italy and provides 400 fully serviced berths, which cater for boats ranging from 8 up to 40 metres. Amongst the range of facilities and services include Wi-Fi, Yachtsman's stores, 75 ton travel lift, fuel station, car parking, restaurant and coffee bar. Customers also benefit from 24 hour security, mooring assistance and courtesy bicycles.

Marina dei Cesari is the second marina in the MDL Mediterranean marina network, which includes Sant Carles Marina, based in Catalonia, Spain. Established in the 1970s, MDL has extensive knowledge of marina operation for international leisure boat visitors and benefits from a team of highly trained specialist staff. In addition to its collaboration with Marina dei Cesari, MDL owns and operates 20 marinas in prime locations.
