Val Wyatt MarineThe history of Val Wyatt Marine is a fascinating account of how people have continually enjoyed boating on the Thames. Established in 1845 at the St.George and Dragon Boat-house in Wargrave, the company originally built punts and skiffs. However, it was to develop at the same pace as the changing marketplace for leisure craft, eventually moving to its current home at Willow Marina in the early 1900. In 1977 the company was purchased from the Wyatt family by Mr. A Baylis who remains the present Managing Director. Its facilities have over the last 30 years been fully modernised to include a slipway and serviced moorings, catering for craft of up to 45 feet. This program of development continues today.
One of the few traditional Thames boatyards and marinas. Val Wyatt Marines’ Willow Marina, offers facilities for 150 berths for craft from 20 to 50’, Dry stowage under cover for craft from 15 to 30’ . Trailer boat parking with inclusive slipway use, Then in the winter we have hard standing for 200 boats with undercover facilities for over 50 craft. We offer full back up facilities with Boat lift to 15 tons, Boat transport, Engineering, chandlery, boat repairs , trimmers, boat spraying , Trailers all from our own management so you can leave the arrangements to us and enjoy your leisure time.Our active boat sales office offers Brokerage, New boat sales , Valuations, Free stowage for craft for sale. We are sole UK Importers of Jetten Yachting Steel craft and Interboat , Intercruiser and Intender Sloepen launches and Cruisers from Holland.Our service is award winning having been winners of the 2011 Garmin Outstanding Service award at the Boat of the Year awards.
