| Description | This Weatherhead MFV Ketch wooden boat for sale has been under ownership for 35 years and has been maintained in excellent seaworthy condition and is ideally equipped for extended liveaboard family cruising. Having already been sailed to the East Coast and across to France, Holland and up to the Friesian Islands this Weatherhead MFV Ketch is as expected of her heritage an extremely good wooden sea boat, solidly built and very comfortable for liveaboard cruising. She attracts much attention as does the historic engine and its sound. The current owners have spent much time and expense in keeping this Weatherhead MFV Ketch in very good condition having maintenance work carried out above and below the waterline if and when needed. The recent engine rebuild shows the owners dedication to keeping original aspects of the boat which adds massively to the historic aspect of this Weatherhead MFV Ketch. She represents a very good example of this type of solidly built MFV wooden boat and has a comprehensive inventory including a bow thruster and radar/plotter. A 2006 survey report is available upon request.Viewing by appointment through our Kent Office. |
