| Description | The Trident 24 was designed by Alan Hill, and built between 1962 and 1976 by Marine Construction Ltd., in Southampton. This one was built in 1970 and is all-GRP construction with triple keels. The hulls were moulded to Lloyds specifications, and about 250 all-GRP versions were built in total. With it's traditionally stepped coachroof, the Trident looks like a 'proper yacht'. Tridents have a good reputation for seaworthiness, at least one having crossed the Atlantic singlehanded. This one has had some recent exterior and interior work. |
