| Description | Selling well below market value this Solaris 42 is well worth throwing some money at! Where would you find another ocean going catamaran at this price anywhere? We have had many enquiries and answered lots of questions and nobody has taken the trouble to view the boat so far. The boat is a good 8 hour drive from us and is located about an hour drive from Seville Airport in a river estuary in Libreria Welba so we are not going to get much chance ourselves to take more pictures. The owner lives in Madrid and it is difficult for him to get to the boat also. A brief description ,we can give and have been told that all electrics are working and the sails are in good condition. The teak decks are not in great shape, but the owner thinks that it would be ok to refurbish them rather than complete replacement. The owner claims that the boat is mainly in need of minor repairs and refurbishment of wood railings, some of the rubber seals from the cockpit windows, a good clean and tidying inside and out.One of the water tanks is in need of replacement and the new one is available with the boat and just needs fitting The Engines last time serviced around 1 year ago, both engines were replaced in 2003, and not used very much since then. In all this cat does not seem a bad deal so I feel if you are looking for a large reasonably well equipped catamaran that needs some work you would not be making a bad decision to hop on a plane and check it out before someone else does! |
