| Description | So you are planning to head off over the horizon... Well this is surely one of the best craft to take you there. The Rustler 42 is a proven blue water vessel with a superb hand built pedigree. Only 4 of these yachts have ever changed ownership, which speaks for itself. Here’s an opportunity to acquire a well specified, blue hull version, without teak decks, which has been ‘factory maintained’ since new. It has all you will need for comfortable ocean going globe-trotting, as the current owners have demonstrated. This is a very good opportunity and should certainly be near the very top of any sea faring adventurer’s purchase list. For further details or to arrange a viewing, call our Falmouth office.

Owners Comments
It was a great delight for us to become proud owners of a Rustler, for many years at the Boat Show we had made the pilgrimage to the stand. After her commission in 2001 she took us to the Caribbean. We cruised the islands during the winter months and returned to Falmouth from Antigua, via Bermuda and the Azores in 2002. What a fabulous cruise she gave us. We then returned her to the Rustler boat yard for the winter. The following season we sailed to Ireland and up to Scotland where we enjoyed the Western Isles for 2 years over wintering in Inverkip. We found some amazing anchorages, it's hard to find better anywhere. Returning to Falmouth we wintered again at the Rustler yard. The following season we sailed to some of our old haunts accross the Channel before going down to Southern Brittany, settling in Rochefort on the river Charente. In May or 2010 we returned to Falmouth and enjoyed our summer along the south coast of the UK before returning to over winter again at the Rustler yard. We then spent last season (2011) in and around Falmouth and the south coast again. She has received her winter maintenance at the Rustler yard and is now back in her berth ready for the season. We have sailed many happy miles aboard her and she has never put a foot wrong, even when the conditions have been more challenging. She has taken great care of us, as we have of her. The new owners will be very lucky and in for a treat. If that new owner is going to be you, the we wish you all the best and many happy sailing adventures.
