WE WILL BE PAYING OUR MARINA FEES UP TO AUGUST 2011 Enjoy inexpensive and beautiful cruising on French waterways! 'Mint' is a steel river boat, overall length 29'(8.9m). Built 1982 by the Rugby Boat Building Co. and based originally at Littleport on the Ouse. Refit 1996 with interior insulation and ash panelling, new 40hp Ford engine, Eberspacher diesel heating to all compartments and 3 way fridge. 1999 hull shot blasted, full repaint, new propeller, propshaft, cutlass bearing, seacocks and anodes. 2000 full survey and all reccomendations completed. 2008 liftout for full repaint, new anodes and batteries. Accommodation: Forward cabin: 2 berths converting to full large double, storage below. Vanity basin, wardrobe and full shower and heads. Large windows with hatch access to foredeck. Central wheelhouse: Canopy and side screens (all removable seperately), windscreens to fore and aft. Access hatches to engine etc. Saloon/aft cabin: Also light and airy with hatch to aft deck and side opening windows. 4ring gas hob and grill, stainless steel sink and fridge. Ample shelf storage space for crockery and food. 2 single full length berths/ banquet seats, central removable table. Weed scuttle under shelf unit. Stern pushpit: Stainless steel and teak seating area. Large folding seat on saloon roof. Water systems: Pressure pumped with hot water via calorifier or immersion heater. Full shore power electrical systems as well as 12 volt. Fully equiped for cruising with large inventory including 2 bikes. |

| Owner's Comments | Mint is berthed at Messac on the river Villiane in Brittany, just over 1 hour south of St Malo by car, near the junction with the Nantes-Breste canal, giving easy access to over 1000 kilometers of river and canal cruising. This area of waterways is one of the quietest and most tranquil in Europe giving access to many medieval villages and towns. THERE ARE NO WATERWAY, CANAL, LOCK, OR VILLAGE PONTOON TIE-UP FEES. The berth is on a floating pontoon in the Port de Pleasance where there is ample parking, free showers and toilets and liftout and hard standing facilities. The marina fees of 460 euros per year are FULLY PAID UP TO AUGUST 2010. These berths are highly desiable and hard to come by and it is probable that the next owner of Mint will be able to continue the contract. We have had six very happy and inexpensive year aboard Mint in Brittany and are only selling as our children and grand children are now scattered across the world and we can no longer do justice to such a lovely boat and floating home in France. |
