DescriptionAstonishing tin pilothouse ketch which is maintained to the enth. Built by Premier with stunning interior joinery and purposeful outers. SPECIFICATI ONConstruction:RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorized A Ocean Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction: The hull and deck are constructed from 8mm high tensile steel plate. The deck is laid with 1mm thick teak planks laid on 12mm plywood and glued with rescourcinal glue. Plywood is fixed with bituminous adhesive. Hull bottom antifouled. Vessel fitted with 8 x anodes.o 2 x Mushroom anodes, 75mm diameter zinc alloy on the rudder.o 6 x 305mm anodes, three port and three starboard forward, centre and aft on each side of hull. Stability calculations show that the vessel has positive stability through to 113.3. This means that the yacht has no righting moment beyond 113. However the righting moment through to 85 is close to optimum. The downflooding point or the point at which water first enters the heeled undamaged vessel is identified as the top corner of the main hatch. Calculations show that water is likely to enter the boat here when heeled to 100. In conditions where this angle of heel is possible, ensure that this (and other openings) are well secured.Keel & Rudder: Long full keel with full length rudder attached to a bearing at the end of the keel Steel hollow rudder oil filled Protected propeller apertureMachinery: Engine & Gearboxes: 1 x Perkins Sabre M225Ti 6 cylinder, turbo charged, intercooled diesel. 225hp. ZF marine gear box. Engine is water cooled from sea water inlet sited in the hull below the engine room. Cooling water is discharged with exhaust. Engine has a wet exhaust with water trap, silencer and swan neck. Engine hours 1238 October 2011Maintenance & Performance: The main engine has always been maintained in accordance with manufacturers recommendations. Any significant works have been carried out by Golden Arrow Marine who are a Perkins Sabre dealer. Cruising speed is 8 to 9 knots with a consumption of approximately 4 gallons an hour which includes the generator .Hydraulics: Hydraulic system is supplied by a Lewmar Power Pack, and is used to drive the bow thruster, main and mizzen furling, main deck winches and anchor windlass. The pump is located beneath sole by aft starboard saloon seat end.Propulsion & Steering: Three bladed, right handed Maxiprop self feathering propeller; PSS shaft seal to prevent water ingress at the hull. Shaft runs in an external cutlass bearing. At the hull there is a Deep Sea Seal to prevent water ingress. Aqua-Drive between the drive and prop shaft. Hydraulically operated Lewmar bowthruster, operated via a PTO off the generator. Whitlock Mamba bevel drive steering system. Emergency tiller located below main berth in the aft cabin. Tiller attachment to the rudder stock is also below the main berth in the aft cabin.Electrical Systems: Voltage Systems: 24 volt DC system and 230 AC system. 24 volt DC system supplied by 12 x 2 volt cells. 230 AC system supplied by generator. DC system supplies lighting, pumps, hydraulic system, refrigeration, wipers, navigation equipment, heating and navigation lights. AC system supply is for sockets, battery charger, water heater, water maker, microwave, washing machine and ice maker.Battery Banks: Engine started from 2 x dedicated 12 volt batteries; located in lined boxes below the chart table. Generator 12 volt starting battery located by and inboard of the engine starting batteries. House batteries are located under the main saloon sole and are AGM 2 volt in 2 bankds of 6 @23 volt Isolator switches are by the batteries under the sole.Battery Chargers: 2 x Mastervolt 70 amp battery chargers replaced 2010.Inverter: Mastervolt inverter to change DC to AC to a maximum of 2500 watts replaced 2010.Alternators: Engine mounted alternator charging main engine battery and the 24v house banks.Generator: Northern Lights 16 kVa ML844 60Hz 1800 RPM. AC supply 240 volts, 50 hz. DC supply 25 volts and 12 volts. Generator hours 1216 at October 2011Shore Power: Provision for shore power with 2 x 6kVa inlets.
