| Extras | Built in 1921 in the Lemaistre Bros yard in Fecamp, France, as a sturdy sailing trawler for use as far afield as Newfoundland, Iceland, Norway and Scotland. She has had an interesting and eventful history and is a Dunkirk 'Little Ship' taking part in the evacuation from France in 1940. White painted carvel oak and larch planking on oak frames and centreline. Long keel with internal ballast. Keel hung rudder. Wheel steering. Teak laid decks. This vessel has benefited from a substantial refit in 2003/5 when a lot of the planking, frames, deck, stringers, mast and spars, engines, electric and all fittings were replaced. |
