2005 - The Ocqueteau 615 is as much a pocket cruiser as a sportsfisher. It comes with brightly coloured trim, wheelhouse curtains and galley facilities, and offers a useful balance between interior and exterior space. Ideal for fishing or cruising on both inland and coastal waterways, the 615 has the advantage of an enclosed wheelhouse giving protection against the elements. There is also a camper cover which can be used to either fully enclose the deck or provide bimini sheltering on hot days. With a 30-knot top speed and strong acceleration this is a highly versatile boat, trailerable and suitable for fishing, cruising and skiing/wakeboarding. A freshwater sink, single burner cooker and chemical toilet are fitted. Road trailer available for an additional £1,500.

Mechanical
Single Suzuki 90HP 4-stroke outboard motor. Under 100 engine hours from new. 90 litre fuel tank. Fuel economy approx 12 litres per hour at 16 knots. Engine serviced at start of 2011 season, ran only 10 hours in 2011 (and unused in 2010). Engine will be serviced again by the current owner prior to sale.
Accommodation
The wheelhouse is large enough for three or four crew to shelter in, thanks to the helm seat and space for a couple at the table, while a colleague makes a brew across the way at the galley. There are good-sized sliding side windows. This is one of the few boats to have wheelhouse curtains and a dinette table that can also be slotted into the cockpit for alfresco meals. Two v-berths to the bows, while the wheelhouse table converts to 3rd berth. Deck
Hull fully copper-bottomed in 2008. Four rod holders to cockpit. Fixed seating across the transom, large storage areas in lazarette and in deck sole. Storage for ground tackle at the bow, and bow roller to the stem's short beak. Bruce anchor, warps and 6 fenders. Road trailer available separately at £1,500. |
