The yacht was made in 1978 and rebuilt in 2000. when you see this you ask what does rebuilt mean. Well in this case if you can see through it away and replace it with NEW. It has NEW everything from engines, electrics, upholstery, electronics and even the woodwork itself. It was taken back to a hull and professionally rebuilt in 2000. when you look round this NELSON 34 you realise in the first ten seconds that the money spent is about three or four times the asking price. This owner is the type of owner who replaces things that might go wrong rather than wait until they do. | Cruiser accommodation | NELSON 34 is in three compartments there is Forward CabinCentre Cockpit..Aft Cabin. Forward Cabin this is a tradition `V` berth with the possibility of converting it to a double if so wished. It has been fully reupholstered and has it own en suite facility of WC and wash hand basin. The woodwork is outstanding and the colours selected for the upholstery and carpets are so rich and so warm. There is plenty of storage space and it is bright and light without losing the atmosphere. Centre Cockpit Engines on a Nelson are midships with large compartments housing the engines. These compartments could act as two more berths if required. This model has a port and starboard seat with the electrics encased in proper electrics panels. The electronics are all very ergonomically positioned so they can be easily accessed from the helm. The floor is an easy clean vinyl and is again in excellent condition. AFT CABIN when you are in this cabin you never wish to leave and you do not need to as it has everything for you to live in the aft cabin. As you walk aft you have the galley which has a two ring hob, toaster and a micro wave oven as well as a sink with hot and cold running water. The electrics are domestic and can be used as the yacht has shore power. If you move aft you have an extremely comfortable `U` shaped seating with soft warm red velour upholstery. The blinds were bespoke manufactured for this yacht and are again NEW. This also has a small table with light. The table can fold down to become a double bed with consummate ease. Being en suite it has not only a wc and wash hand basin but a full and sensible sized shower. The walls are again finished in outstanding woodwork and tastefully finished with nautical artefacts. The aft cabin being a home from home a quality CD system with four speakers AND has a flat screen TV with Ariel when in port. |
