| Engines |
Probably original engines but given a full rebuild in 1992. Perkins T6354M 150 HP 6 cylinder turbo Diesels with approx 500 hours run since rebuild. these simple and robust engines drive through Borg Warner 2.1:1 reduction gearboxes and straight shafts via "P" brackets to four bladed bronze propellers (new 2006). They give her up to 18 knots at 2250 RPM and will cruise her readily at 12 knots at just 1800 rpm. They are then burning approx 4 gallons each engine.
|
| Berths |
With a very clever layout she is surprisingly able. with 4 + 2 accommodation available. two bunks forward, two full bunks each side aft, and clever berths in wheelhouse along engine tops..
