| Owners Comments |
We have enjoyed five wonderful years sailing White Heather with our family crew within the Solent. She is very stable in strong winds and manages to give exciting performance. She is a very pretty yacht and always attracts admiring comments from fellow sailors. She is fun to sail with a crew and is easily handled by two
|
| History |
She started life as Gunfleet of Hamble (sail number K2860) winning the 1971 Cowes Week Queens Gold Cup, with 5 trophy wins was rated top yacht of the week .
She spent time in the Caribbean as Morning Mist winning the St Maartens regatta and being the Mountgay yacht at Antigua Weeks. She sailed back across the Atlantic in 2003 .
Following her purchase by her present owners she was refitted and given a full osmosis treatment. She has been regularly up dated and her equipment professionally maintained.
She is only being sold because her owners are buying a larger Swan yacht.
