| Description | We have just sold a Jaguar 36 last week and I am so impressed with these boats and very pleased to have the opportunity of having another offered on our books. I have seen some negative feedback on the internet about these boats which I feel is totally unjustified, originating from other brokers on the internet mainly selling the modern French production boats, saying that these Jaguar catamarans will slam in a big sea because of the low bridge deck clearance. This is absolute bullshit! Sure you may get slamming but I hardly think that adding 9 inches to a bridge deck clearance will absorb waves that much more. If you look at the old Prout’s, Heavenly Twins, and Warrams, Dean or many other Catamarans the nacelle sometimes make it look more like a trimaran but you will go into any harbour in the world and see one of these low bridge deck cats which have sailed there on their own bottom. The Jaguar is built to cope with some of the most challenging seas in the world in South Africa and built to handle it well. The space on this catamaran for a 36ft is awesome and it has a huge sail area for increased performance! The layout is great for family cruising with the saloon and cockpit being on one level and galley up, and has exceptionally large bi-fold four panel doors which open the width of the saloon, making the cockpit and saloon feel like one area. It is perfect for entertaining and doing day charter. With the huge bathing platform and easy access to the tender which can be stowed on the platform while cruising without the weight of the dingy and outboard swinging about in space. The main sheet traveller is mounted on the quality stainless steel overhead gantry out of the way. There are two very comfy double seats above the stern transoms forward facing that are great for all round observation and keeping the skipper company. The feeling of the boat is solid and well built and the berths are very big and comfortable and first impression will bowl you over. I personally do not believe you will find another 35ft - 40ft that will offer the space and comfortable accommodation with the huge amount of equipment fitted that this boat can offer. This is truly immaculate inside and out and like new.
