| Description | A nice looking yacht, this Hunter Ranger 265 is well kept and maintained and in the same ownership from new. She is well equipped and well proven having cruised extensively from the UK and around the Mediterranean. She is easily handled under sail or power and has a self tacking jib and twin bulb keels. There is a roomy cockpit aft and from here the companionway steps lead below with the excellent Yanmar 1GM under.
The first impression below decks is the amount of light and airy space and headroom you would normally only expect to find on a much larger yacht. The galley is located to starboard with a practical island layout, aft of this is a good sized double cabin with standing area and the berth extending under the cockpit sole. The well designed heads compartment is opposite the galley to port and forward of the heads is the aft facing chart table. The main saloon has ‘U’ shaped seating around the table and both settees make good sea berths. A raised area forward of the saloon makes a further double berth that has a canvass partition.
Overall, this yacht is an unbeatable combination or roomy accommodation and good performance under sail or power, all at a fantastic price with very low running costs. |
