The open cockpit is protected by a large sprayhood which incorporates a clever Perspex panel to the top to allow clear vision to the sails from the protected area as well as the ability to close at the aft side protecting the hatch area. All control lines lead aft to the cockpit for safe and easy handling, including the self tacking head sail and reefing lines.The autopilot control panel is to port of the companion way and the compass to starboard. The battened mainsail drops into a lazy bag with lazy jacks and the headsail is furling. |
