| Description | ‘Ariane’ is a 1989 Golden Star 38. She was built by Golden Star Yacht Corporation in Taiwan. She is built and fitted out in a very similar style to very popular Trader range that was also built here.
She is best described as a smaller Trader but with more subtle lines.
She is being offered for sale by her 3rd owner. She has been very well cared for and is only for sale as the owner would like to now go sailing.
Powered by 2 Volvo TAMD 41’s producing 400hp.
In the past 3 years she has had £24,000 spent on her.
All works were carried out by Foxes boat yard in Ipswich.
This includes;
Osmosis treatment to hull which is still under transferable warranty to December 2011
Replacement of aft deck dodgers and fly bridge screens
Fabricate and fit s/steel bathing platform and supply wooden planking
Supply and fit 7hp Sleipner bow thruster under vee berth with battery shelf for x2 108AMP HR batteries
Replaced original navigational equipment. She now has the following fitted:
Raymarine 54e VHF DSC radio, RL80 colour chart plotter, 2KW radar dome, Raystar 125 GPS interface, replacement VHF aerial all interfaced. ST60 tridata to saloon and interfaced to fly bridge Form new black crinkle panel for saloon helm position with chart table light and new light for fly bridge plus RL80 plotter.
In addition, the saloon and both cabins have been re trimmed. She also has a flat screen TV with DVD in saloon.
'Ariane' has had regular servicing carried out and is stored ashore each winter. All three main batteries have been replaced and x2 new Jabsco toilets with all new pipe work and fittings. Both main engines had major service carried out last October at time of haul out.
She is a must see for anyone in the market for this type of Motor Yacht.
